WSU`s Housing Services staff works to provide you with a comfortable, safe and convenient apartment during your studies. We want you to have as much freedom as possible in your personal life while ensuring a satisfying and comfortable life for the entire community. Since this is a long-term residential community that will provide housing for many students over the next few years, the university must ensure that their interests regarding the ownership and reputation of its units are respected. The functioning and administration of the municipality depends on the cooperation of its inhabitants. In keeping with this philosophy, we have decided to introduce a limited pet policy that allows tenants who commit to owning a responsible pet to have a pet. In making this decision, WSU Housing has considered the important contributions that pets can make to the lives of people who value and value animals. WSU Housing has also taken into account the fact that there are people who want to avoid contact with pets and other animals. The pet policy is designed to protect both pet owners and non-pet owners and to ensure that the animals themselves receive responsible care. The policy applies to all pets kept in the WSU accommodation and is strictly enforced. All tenants can obtain a copy of the policy. By signing this Pet Policy, the Tenant agrees to comply with the terms of this Agreement.

6. All pets must receive adequate veterinary care, including all appropriate vaccines, must be cared for and maintain a healthy diet and be trained according to their needs. All pets must also be kept in accordance with applicable national and local laws. Dogs and cats must wear identification tags at all times. 9. Tenants are responsible and must pay for any damage or injury caused by their pets. In addition, any tenant who wishes to keep a pet must pay a refundable deposit of $150 and a non-refundable fee of $200 when signing the pet contract. Proof of personal tenant insurance must be presented by the tenant. Failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement constitutes a delay under the Tenant`s lease and gives WSU Housing the right to initiate proceedings to terminate the Tenant`s lease. In case of termination, the tenant is responsible for all associated costs.

A pet supplement gives the tenant permission to have pets on the rental property. It requires the tenant to be responsible for ensuring that his pets keep their pets under control, that they do not cause excessive disturbance to the property, and that the pet owner is responsible for property damage caused by pets. The landlord can set a fee or deposit that the tenant must pay, which is either non-refundable (one-time fee) or refundable (such as a deposit). In addition, the landlord defines the quantity, type and size of pets that the tenant is allowed to have. This document is legally binding and therefore both parties must comply with the details of this written agreement. Step 2 – Enter the date of the pet addendum agreement, followed by the date of the lease, the name of the tenant and the landlord. 3. When deciding whether or not to approve a tenant`s request for the care of a dog, the management shall take into account the temperament of the dog and the arrangements made by the tenant for the care, training and exercise of the dog. When deciding to approve a tenant`s request to keep or acquire a puppy, management continues to consider the arrangements made by the tenant for the care and training of the puppy. You are now ready to pay your deposit and fees. Be smart.

Make sure you are aware of the law and don`t put yourself in a position where you can lose hard-earned money. Step 3 – Enter the number and type of pets that the tenant is allowed to have. Next, write down the number of books that a pet is allowed to weigh. If the landlord wants to charge a fee or deposit related to the tenant who owns pets, they must enter the dollar amount of those fees/deposits and indicate whether it is refundable or not…
